Founder
Dr. Xenia Pantos, OTD, OTR/L is the founder of Piping Plover Therapies, nature and in-home occupational therapy, providing services throughout southern Maine. Xenia received their bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Leadership at Warren Wilson College. They then went on to do an (unreasonably) wide variety of different things including teaching preschool, running an adventure program through the YMCA, teaching knitting to elementary school-aged children, and working at a ski resort, before attending the MGH Institute of Health Professions to receive their Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
They have since fallen in love with the opportunities OT provides to be fully present and engaged in the important work of play with children! They have a strong belief in the power of outside play as a tool to support independence and skill-building. Xenia is honored to have the opportunity to work with your children as they develop the skills they need to be successful in everyday life.
